Official Music Videos
First Love - Too Loud Band
This is the official music video that I directed, filmed and edited for First Love by the Too Loud Band. This is my debut independent music video project as a director and cinematographer. The video was produced with the help of Rachel Gipson of Surreal Sister. It was filmed at the iconic Castles N’ Coasters theme park as well as the studio at the Huntington Film School. The track was recorded at the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Center. This song and music video were both created and influenced from the work of Desmond Child, Chuck Garric, Jodi Marr and Peter Cornell.
ROBOT ODDiTY - FTTE
This is the official music video for Robot Oddity by Friends To The End, that I edited and composed nearly all the vfx for. This video took nearly 3 months to complete. It was filmed almost entirely on a green screen. I composited around 80 different vfx comps to create the world, story and effects from scratch. I edited this project remotely and was directed entirely through virtual calls and emails. A large portion of the story was conceptualized by myself during the rough editing process.
Suns Out Buns Out - Prime Time with Alex Stein
This was a fun video editing job I did on the official music video of “Suns Out Buns Out” for the Prime Time with Alex Stein YouTube Channel. I worked with Alex’s producer, JVT Entertainment, to turn the rough draft of this comedic music video into a finished piece for their channel. My editing contributions included finalizing the picture cut, animating transitions and special effects, and creating the trendy lyric subtitles. Here’s the description of the music video straight from their YouTube channel: “The most souther backwoods country song of all time, featuring @JVTEntertainment, @remingtonsings, and Takki Dangerfield. It's true what they say about country girls: when the sun comes out, the buns come out!”
Chinese Underground - FTTE
This is the official music video that I produced, directed, animated and edited for Chinese Underground by Friends To The End. This was my most ambitious motion graphic and animation project to date. I created this video from scratch using several different elements and assets I sourced from Envato Elements. The entirety of the video was all designed, animated and edited 100% in After Effects with no additional aid from any other NLE. Nearly 120 hours went into animating this video and it is a highlight of my creative writing style, my motion graphic animation and editing abilities, as well as, my total capstone abilities as a developed story driven film maker. Although I don't claim to be a motion graphic or vfx artist like some of my good film friends, this project took me nearly 6 weeks to put together and really pushed forth the knowledge and talents I have in those areas. I'm proud of what we created and believe it's such an awesome story to shed some light on.
